CTA Ventra Is EDM Mikron

After washing my travelling pants, I made a sad discovery. My ticket-pocket, where I store all used tickets for decoration, had been washed while full of tickets. And my CTA day-pass started to disintegrate.

Inside, we find an A181 card from Mikron. Sadly, post washing-machine I could not receive any data from my card using a Sony Z1 Compact as a reader.

This leaves us with a few possible options:

• M-Pass
• NFC-PASS
• M-BOOK

But without a working example, this is probably the end of exploration until I visit Chicago again. Interestingly, I cannot seem to find an A181 on the Mikron website.
